Kelson Scores 5 out of 5 in January End of Month (EOM)

On January 21, we had 28 Caissa students come to our Sheung Wan Centre to play in the first leg of the Winter 2018 EOM. The Winter 2018 EOM runs from January through March. Players were divided in 4 groups based on experience and strength and played Swiss 5 rounds Rapid time control, managed and overseen by Caissa coaches IA Alberto Muniz and coach CM David Rivas.

The total participants field was fairly large with many starters and first-time tournament players. This is good as it is the main purpose of EOM to especially get the starters up and running with tournament experience.

Kelson was the clear winner in the strongest Group A whereas in Group B all players ended with 3 points! Alex G won the C Group one point loose and in Group D Tia and Nathan were one point loose from the next player.
