About the event
The Japan Classic is the main international event tournament held in Japan. In 2026 the tournament moved to Osaka and Caissa Osaka Chess Club was invited by the Japan Chess Federation to co-organise the tournament. Details about the event, prizes, rounds, dates etc. can be found on the official web site.
Caissa Hong Kong Chess Club has chosen this event to be our main overseas tournament to participate, and we have created a package including hotel, breakfast, lunch, training visit to Kyoto with a FIDE rated tournament as part of that. Our titled coaches will be on-site for various sorts of chess preparations and analysis, and our local team will help make the Japan experience smooth and interesting.
