About the event
1. The tournament will be played at Caissa Chess Club, 6/F Wing Cheong Commercial Building, 19-25 Jervois Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong on Sunday 20 September, starting at 12.30pm expecting to finish around 5.30pm.
2. The tournament will be played according to the FIDE ‘Laws of Chess’, Blitz play.
3. The tournament will be valid for FIDE Blitz Rating, so players must have a valid FIDE ID in order to register for the tournament. If you don’t have one, contact your National Federation.
4. Registration can be done until September 15 or until reaching 32 players, whatever happens first. Entry fee is 350HKD (300HKD for Caissa students (center, school, private) and 150HKD for Caissa CTP students）.
5. The Competition System will be Swiss System, with 7 double rounds. Once a pairing is out, players will play 2 games with each other, alternating colors. Each game will count…
