Elite Chess Club
In Term 1 of Academic Year 2026-27 we continue to provide chess ECA on Tuesdays 3.30pm-4.30pm and on Fridays 3.30pm-5pm (90 minutes).

Room 153, which is on the 5/F of Block 1
Approach
Our training focuses on applying tactical motives in over-the-board play. Also, major attention will be given to strategic insights, like pawn structure, weak squares, minority attacks etc. It is our goal to create confidence with all the students in tournament play.
The Friday (advanced) group will add rigor to the training and prepare students to play individual and interschool tournaments against the top youth in Hong Kong.
All students can join Caissa's once per month "End of Month" tournament which is a controlled competition in which players of equal strength play for medals and trophies and learn how to play with a chess clock and time their thinking.

No refund, credit or make-up class will be provided if the student does not attend at the scheduled day and time. In case of enforced school closure by EDB or if classes are disrupted due to COVID-19 circumstances, these classes will not be charged.
