End of Season - Congrats to Rapid and Blitz Champion CM Emile Boucquet

On 22 June 36 players visited Caissa Sheung Wan chess centre to phase out some of their last rapid energy of the season. In this FIDE rated 15 minutes + 3 seconds increment, 6 rounds Open Rapid, Caissa coach Emile with 5.5 out of 6 was crowned Champion, conceding a draw against youth talent Chin Yin who ended 5th. A week later, 29 June, 25 players got together to blitz the season out: 7 double rounds (14 games). We were very pleased to see some new faces but also to see Wing Ki, Caissa player if the first hour, back at Caissa.

Maybe less so for Emile who remained stuck on half point against Wing Ki ..., but winning all other 12 games convincingly ended 1st Place ... again.

The End of Season took place in a positive atmosphere. Caissa students (and coaches!?) did very well and took home most of the prizes. The ones who didn't win a trophy this time gained good experience and we hope to see all back soon at the Start of Season.
