Caissa Youth perform well at 2nd Harrow Scholastic - Champions in all categories!!
U7 In the youngest category we have Alexander Tu and Richard Li, here playing against each other in the final round. They're good friends and represent the same school (Hong Kong International School) and got third place just between the two of them. Individually, Richard finished in sixth place while Alexander won all of his games and clinched first place with 7/7! Congratulations Alexander! Harrow International School prolongs title at the Harrow 2nd Open Scholastic
The Harrow 1st Open Scholastic was a big success with around 420 participants and Ding Liren as a special guest. For the Harrow 2nd Open Scholastic we went back to the basics, no special guests and no side activities - except for a Mother's Day banner where the players could take pictures (sometimes not entirely to their liking, you know who you are, dear teenagers!) with their mother with roses we handed out. Back to School Rapid
The summer vacation is slowly coming to an end, children all over Hong Kong are getting ready to go to school again… and to chess!
