Caissa "New initiatives"

Caissa ready for the new school year with a fresh new look and many new projects!

As you have found your way here, you’re already familiar with our brand new website. Throughout the summer, the Caissa team has worked hard on this project to present you this fresh new look. Not only did the website get an update, we also have a new and improved registration page where you can easily play around with the filter to get a fast and clear overview of our classes. And that is not all! To keep track of your bookings, we have launched an app where you can see all your current registrations. Now downloadable on Google Play!

With the new school year well underway, we’re also happy to share that Caissa is now offering classes in Shatin College: The Elite Chess Club. Have a look at our school tab to see where else we are active and where you might be able to join next term!

Our center in Shatin Town Hall has been temporarily closed due to renovations. We expect to open there again in December. In the meantime, students that were attending our classes in Shatin Town Hall are welcome to join our regular center classes in Sheung Wan or in Discovery Bay.

On the topic of our center classes, I should mention that we have opened a couple of new

timeslots!

• Monday 5pm: Step 1 and Step 2 Online

• Tuesday 6pm: Step 3 and higher in Sheung Wan

• Wednesday 4pm: Step 1 in Sheung Wan

Our girls classes on Wednesday 5pm and Saturday 10am under supervision of WFM Astrid Barbier get a special mention.

We've also started a cooperation with Sing Woo, offering classes for beginners in Happy Valley

Along with the start of the school term, we also have the new CTP term (Caissa Talent Program) guided by IM Matthew Tan. Congratulations to all who are selected, we are looking forward to seeing our talents in action in future tournaments!
