Caissa teams at World Team Amateur Rapid Chess Cup - Training Session

Between 17 and 21 June, the chess world's finest are coming to Hong Kong to fight out which team can call themselves World Champions in the World Rapid and Blitz Team World Championships. In the morning, there's a side event which certainly is no less exciting: the World Amateur Team Amateur Rapid Chess Cup.

Coach Astrid and Coach Eduard will both be captaining a team with some of our most promising youth players.

On 22 June we had a first team building and training session led by CM Coach Nomi and CM Coach Emile. The evening started with some light snacks and pizzas while after a very productive session and high level training games - let it be known that Team Kangaroos won the evening! - we finished by sharing cake to celebrate Coach Emile's upcoming birthday on 25 May.
