Caissa Team - Team Building

On 28 and 29 March the Hong Kong Interschool and Open Team Chess Championship will take place. A perfect opportunity for us to gather the Caissa Team and go compete as a club.

At Caissa we strongly emphasize the club feeling. That's why we organized a team building event on 15 March - pizza included - to prepare our youngsters for the upcoming tournament.

After going through the tournament rules and talking about what it means to play in a team, we had a fun quiz in teams and finally played some practice games. Next to all that, we had the time to enjoy pizza!

Everyone got to meet their teammates, which is not always evident with many different players from different group classes and schools. This was a succesful bonding event where comraderie clearly came first. The day concluded a weekend of Caissa community after we had the succesful Chess Queens Festival the day before. We look forward to hosting more similar events and playing many tournaments with this group of players!
