Welcome to the Caissa Girls Club - Announcing our Newest Initiatives for Girls and Women

At Caissa, we believe chess is a game that knows no boundaries. Since 2025, we have been dedicated to building a supportive environment for our growing community of female players. Through our tournaments, training sessions, annual festival, and weekly classes, we have seen your enthusiasm. Due to this popularity, we are happy to announce that starting this October, Wednesdays will officially be 'Caissa Girls Club Day' at our Sheung Wan Center—a dedicated space for our female players.

Whether you are just learning how the pieces move or whether you are a seasoned tournament player, we have something for everyone as we will be holding three distinct classes:

• 5:00 PM – Beginners: Designed for those just starting out, this class offers a highly supportive environment to learn the fundamentals of the game and begin your chess journey.

• 6:00 PM – Intermediate: Perfect for those who know the basics, this class focuses on sharpening tactics, playing practice games, and forming lasting friendships with other chess-playing girls

• 7:00 PM – Advanced & Ambitious: Tailored for our most driven players, this session introduces intensive, 1.5-hour training sessions held periodically throughout the year. Please contact us to join the list.

Our commitment to female players extends beyond our students; we are equally dedicated to providing a welcoming space for the women in our community. In response to the interest from our adult members, we are proud to host our 'Ladies-Only (k)night' on October 7th.

Join us for an evening of casual chess, conversation, and connection. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the rules, a seasoned player, or a parent supporting your child’s chess journey, there is a place for you. Our coaches will be present to teach the basics and lead a session on how to support your child’s chess development. With plenty of boards available, it’s the perfect opportunity to socialize and have fun.
